Characteristics

Orange peel is often peeled into several valves, with base connected, some irregularly flaky, and thickness of 1~4mm. The outer surface of orange peel is red or reddish brown, with fine wrinkle and sunken punctate oil chamber. Its inner surface is in pale yellowish white, rough, with yellowish-white or yellowish-brown fascia vascular bundle. It’s Slightly hard and brittle. It’s fragrant and tastes bitter.

Description

The mesh belt drying machine is a continuous penetrating flow drying equipment applied for drying material in strip, particle or slice state with good ventilation.The machine is suitable for materials such as de-watering vegetable, herbal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine and others, for which the water contents are high and high drying temperature is not allowed. For the mesh belt dryer supplied by GRIFFIN, it is one of our main equipment and very hot machines in our company. There are two types of mesh belt dryers , one for drying the material, and the other for cooling the material . The biggest difference between two machines is the mesh .

Principle

The materials are uniformly distributed on the mesh-belt by the material feeder. The mesh-belt generally adopts 12-60 mesh stainless steel mesh and it is drawn by a transmission device and move inside the dryer. The dryer is composed of several sections. For each section the hot air is circulated separately. Part of exhausted gas is exhausted by a special moisture exhaust blower. The waste gas is controlled by an adjustment valve. The hot air passes through the mesh-belt covered with bring water material away. The mesh-belt moves slowly, and running speed can be freely adjusted according to the material property. The final products after the drying process will fall into the material collector continuously. The top and low circulation units can be freely equipped according to client requirement.

Equipment Advancement

● The heater and the circulating fan are arranged at the bottom of the belt, the front bypass air duct filter avoids pollution, and each unit on both sides of the belt is equipped with a quick door opening, which is convenient for cleaning and maintenance.

● By adopting reasonable inclined wind guide device and material plate, the width of the net belt is evenly distributed and the temperature difference is less than 5 ℃, so as to prevent the temperature on both sides of the Conveyor Belt from being uneven, resulting in the uneven water content and easy cleaning of the traditional Chinese medicinal materials after drying.

● The bottom of the belt is sloping for material collection and cleaning.

● The equipment adopts 80mm thick aluminum silicate heat preservation, the external surface temperature of the insulation area of the equipment is ≤ 5 ℃, the seal is good, the heat loss is small, the environment is clean.

Application

● The Mesh belt dryer is widely used for chemical industry, foodstuff industry, pharmaceutical industry, construction industry, electronic industry and so on. This dryer is especially suitable for drying the materials that have a good breathability and are shaped as pieces, strips, or granules. It is also applicable to dry pasted materials such as filter cake after shaped by granulator or extruder.
